August 2017 Reading By the Numbers

10 were works of fiction, 4 were nonfiction, and 1 was poetry. 1 was an anthology, 1 was literary, 7 were YA, 1 was memoir, 2 were essays, 1 was short stories, 1 was about gender, and 1 was about race.

The average rating was 3.53 out of 5.

1 was a paperback, 1 was an ARC, 6 were hardcover, and 7 were iBooks.

The average publication date was the late 2010s.

3 were published by Penguin Random House, 5 were published by HarperCollins, 2 were published by Macmillian, 1 by Simon & Schuster, 1 by Hachette Book Group, and 3 by publishing houses outside of the Big 5.

I read a total of 4,466 pages with the average page count being 298 pages.

I spent $151.89 on books this month.

12 books were purchased, 1 was from BookExpo, 1 was a gift, and 1 was borrowed.
