October 2017 Reading By the Numbers

In October I read 7 books.

3 were authored by males and 4 by females.

4 were authored by whites and 3 by minorities.

5 were works of fiction and 2 were nonfiction. 3 were YA, 2 were history, 1 was memoir, and 1 was a classic.

The overall rating was 2.57 out of 5.

2 were hardcover, 2 were iBooks, 1 was an ARC, and 2 were paperback.

The majority of the books were published in the late 2010s.

1 was published by Penguin Random House, 2 were published by HarperCollins, 2 were published by Simon & Schuster, 1 by Hachette Book Group, and 1 was published by a publishing house outside of the Big 5.

I read a total of 2,053 with the average page count being 293 pages.

I spent $26.36 on books this month.

I was from NYU SPI, 3 were purchased, 1 was a gift, 1 was already owned, and 1 was from BookExpo.
